Picking Order
The Weaver WMS warehouse management system allows you to plan the picking sequence of goods from warehouse locations. To configure this functionality, you need to assign a priority to each warehouse location by editing its properties.
Setting the Location Priority
The priority of a warehouse location defines its picking sequence. Locations with a lower priority number will be processed before locations with a higher priority number.
Example:
Location ZP-01-01
with a picking sequence priority of 704 will be processed before location ZP-01-02
, which has a picking sequence priority of 705.
To set the priority, edit the location properties in the Weaver WMS system.
Activating Picking Sequence
To enable the option that considers the picking sequence in order processing, follow these steps:
-
Go to user settings:
Navigate to Settings > Users and select the appropriate user. -
Edit mobile terminal settings:
In the Mobile Terminal Settings section, go to the Order Picking tab. -
Enable the option:
Activate the Consider Picking Sequence option.
Displaying the Sequence on Documents
After configuring the picking sequence, the system will update the list of items on WZ documents and mobile terminals.

The screenshot below shows the mobile terminal view, where items are arranged based on the defined picking queue.
This functionality makes the goods picking process more efficient and tailored to the warehouse's individual needs.
